On  May 6, the day of St. George the Victorious, Bishop of Kashira Iov the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in   Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of St. John the Baptist in Chipman. The rector of parishes “Orthodox V” priest George Sergeev   took part in the service. After the Liturgy Bishop Iov preached a sermon about the importance of martyrdom for confirming the faith in Christ and also wished prayerful intercession of St. George  in our life. The bishop also cordially congratulated the rector of the parishes “Orthodox V” with his name-day. After the Liturgy communication of the parishioners with their bishop went on during the festive trapeza.
