Patriarchal Award
On the occasion of Holy Easter, his 50th Birthday, and long-standing service to the Patriarchal Parishes in Canada, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia awarded V. Rev. Fr. Igor Kisil, priest of the Orthodox 9 Parishes with a jewelled cross.
On Easter Monday, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes, His Grace Job, Bishop of Kashira, conducted and headed the Divine Liturgy at St. Barbara’s Cathedral in Edmonton, which was attended by all the clergy of the Patriarchal Parishes. At the Small Entrance, Bishop Job presented a Patriarchal award – a jewelled cross – to Archpriest Igor Kisil, the pastor of nine parishes in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
At the end of the service, His Grace Bishop Job cordially congratulated Father Igor Kisil with a high award, prayerfully wishing him God’s blessings, physical and spiritual strength, patience, and success in his further pastoral labours for the good and prosperity of the Patriarchal Parishes in Canada for many glorious and blessed years!
