Divine Services of the Great Saturday and Easter were celebrated in churches of “Orthodox V”. The rector of the parishes priest George Sergeev conducted the services and consecrated Easter cakes and paskhas in eight parishes of “Orthodox V” and also in the hospital of Lamont. On the bright day of the Resurrection of Christ the Paschal Vigil and the Divine Liturgy were celebrated in the Church of the Birth of St. John the Baptist in Chipman.  After the service the rector of the parish presented a thanksgiving letter from Bishop of Kashira Iov, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in Canada, to the most active parishioners who had taken part in the preparation of the feast of Pasha.  In all, more than 200 people were present at the festal services.
