On March 1, 2015, the first Sunday of Great Lent, St. Herman of Alaska Sobor in Edmonton, Alberta hosted the celebration of the Triumph of Orthodoxy. The service was led by His Grace, Bishop of Kashira Jov, (Moscow Patriarchate) and was joined by Fr. Vincent Lehr, Priest-in-charge of St. Herman’s Sobor and other clergy from the Edmonton Clergy Brotherhood. The church was filled with over 200 faithful from various parishes in the Edmonton area. Lenten Vespers was served with a procession of icons carried by clergy and children through the church, followed by the reading of the Synodikon.
