The All-American Council, clergy and the faithful of the Orthodox Church in America have delegated the blessed ministry of the Archbishop of Washington, Metropolitan of All America and Canada to Your Beatitude. God’s help and much courage and wisdom is required to serve the Church in this high ministerial position. May our Lord Jesus Christ accompany you in all the deeds and concerns related to the cultivation of His blessed Vineyard, which is entrusted to you, as well as in restoring and preserving peace in God’s Church and in stabilizing relations with all Orthodox Churches, which is crucial for witnessing Christ’s presence among us and manifests our active participation in the Divine Mission, which He gave to His Church.

May Our Lady the Mother of God and all the Saints, who have sacrificed their lives for the Orthodox Christian faith in North America, support you in the difficult work of the Primatial ministry to the Orthodox Church in America.
