On Sunday of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Liturgy in the Intercession Parish of the city of Ottawa, Canada

On May 12, 2019, on the 3rd Sunday after Easter, memory of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing women, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Intercession Parish of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

During the Divine Liturgy, the Right Reverend Vladyka was assisted by the clergy of the Canadian Diocese of the Orthodox Church in America and Protodeacon Alexander Zakharov from the Intercession Parish.

At the end of the service, His Grace handed to Protodeacon Alexander the Patriarchal award – medal “In Memory of the 100th Anniversary of the Restoration of the Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church” in consideration of his hard work for the glory of the Church of Christ.

Vladyka Matthew congratulated the clergy and parishioners of the church with the day of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing women and addressed the worshipers with words of edification.
